My name is Des, and I specialize in graphic design, social media management, and virtual assistance. I'm a loving mom to 18-year old Aly and five adopted cats. My interests include mobile photography, art galleries and museums, podcasts, and Netflix marathons.

VIRTUAL ASSISTANT
I work as a full-time Administrative Assistant for a US online business. I am tasked to check the health of our inventory; place orders with vendors, track and reconcile orders and shipments, and open cases with the support team to resolve inventory or shipment issues.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
A Canada-based day care company hired me to manage their Facebook and Instagram accounts on a part-time basis. My tasks include social media planning, content creation, and website maintenance.

QA SPECIALIST AND SUPERVISOR
Before venturing into a home-based career, I worked for a call center company as a quality assurance specialist. My responsibilities included reviewing and scoring associate calls according to corporate and client standards, identifying performance-impacting behaviors, and coaching the associates. After a year, I got promoted as a supervisor to a team of QA specialists. I
worked closely with operations and training teams to identify performance issues and made recommendations for process efficiencies.
